This process has helped me as four years ago I received a Certificate of Rehabilitation. The term expungement needs to be re-visited because nothing comes off your record. Even a full pardon does not seal anything. The good news is that a COR is quite an accomplishment. The bad news is that the community has limited information about COR's. I recently went through extensive hiring process with the Alchohol and Drug Program Administration. I was honest, and open about my history.
In the bitter end they did not honor my COR and unfortunatley I was unable to be hired. I have been working towards that career for 14 years. I am in the process of applying for a pardon However, was devastated by this. Thanks for listening
