Adrenalin Junkie: Thy name Is greatness

There's one feeling that all extreme sports athletes go through, I pinpoint these guys because they're the most likely to go through it and that's the feeling of adrenalin. Adrenalin is defined as the feeling you get when something exciting happens and you have no knowledge of why it's happening. Everyone has their moments of becoming an adrenalin junkie, it's just that some of us are more prone to it than others are.
Take for instance, the fact that you grew up in a "sports family," which means that you have family members in your household that are very athletic and you happen to be the exact opposite, very studious. It's not that I choose not to play sports, it's that I'm very selective about the sports I choose to associate myself with. I'll play tackle football with the guys, but I'd never in a million years would picture myself playing golf or tennis, they're just not that exciting to me.
I will however go to any extreme sports event or any event that gets my blood pumping to where my eyes are almost about to pop straight out of my head. For instance, I love the "X-Games" for those of you who don't know what the X-Games are they're extreme sports but multiplied ten times over. These are events that are not for the "faint of heart," which means if you're out of breath within one second of watching them then going to an extreme sports festival isn't for you. These festivals happen twice a year, once in summer and once in winter and they alternate every two years.
There's a sense of "training" that goes along with being an adrenalin junkie and let's just say this writer has had some training. I've watched every extreme sporting event possible. I've even been to a few, not including bull riding, which is something I desperately want to see live, but I bet my parents won't let me because "it's too dangerous and they don't want me to get hurt." Hello…I'm a tomboy, which basically means if there's not an injury involved I don't want to be either.
There are also three major rules that apply with being an adrenalin junkie, first you can't be afraid of heights because there are just things that you need to get over. Secondly, you never second guess yourself on anything because if you do then your probably not ready to be an adrenalin junkie and most importantly, you have to like pain because if you don't the likelihood that you will ever have the chance to do something crazy and think about it is approximately none because adrenalin junkies usually go with their gut and not their thought.
In closing, if you're a young female or male and you just happen to enjoy some of the aforementioned activities then being an adrenalin junkie is for you, but if you don't then may I suggest the typical pencil pusher job not that there's anything wrong with that but….you might want some excitement in your life….just a thought.
