Construction on the new building is ahead of schedule, and will be hampered if Tech II, originally the campus motor pool, isn't razed. Faculty and staff are expected to scramble to box things up just as finals are upon us.

You may have noticed the Yes on Prop 92 posters all around campus. The purpose of the Prop 92, according to http://www.prop92yes.com is to give "The chance for every Californian to go to college", by providing stable and affordable fees setting them at $15 per unit and limiting future fee increases to no more than cost of living.

CONSTRUCTION: Project "surpasses that of other schools," official says

In a tense atmosphere, teachers and administrators gathered with school board officials Nov. 6 in the Music Recital hall to see how the $246 million granted to Harbor through Propositions A and AA are being spent. Although some of the construction projects, like the new athletic field, have already been approved or are nearing completion, there are still debates surrounding what will begin next.
