Los Angeles Harbor College Graduation will be held Wednesday (June 4). Rehearsal will be held in the gym at 9:00 a.m. Graduation candidates will meet in the gym at 3:30 p.m. The graduation ceremony will take place on the Seahawk Football Stadium at 4:00 p.
Every semester at Harbor College, we see all these glamorous credit card booths. Inside these booths are representatives from major credit card companies that try to hook Seahawks into inquiring for a credit card. They do so buy offering free gifts such as t-shirts and even pizza.
The Los Angeles Harbor College sheriff department is currently offering escort service for all students, faculty and administrators. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Service is available on request.
President of the Los Angeles Harbor College Film Club, Genevieve Obodo, will be hosting an event titled, "A Film Inspired Fashion Show" on Thursday (May 22) at 12:35 p.m. in the Seahawk Center. The LAHC Film Club, members of the ASO, and local high school students came together in an effort to celebrate the glamour of Los Angeles style.
The Los Angeles Harbor College Foundation Golf Tournament needs items for both silent and live auctions. Here are some suggestions: Any white elephant (any item that is still wrapped and can be re-gifted) Restaurant gift cards ($25 and $50 increments would be terrific) A time share that you aren't going to use Any golf items that you care to donate Sponsor a student to golf or come and play golf yourself Hardly used books Assortment of Trader Joe goodies (or a health food assortment) Certificates to spas (or other things that you aren't going to use) Theater tickets (that you are not able to use) Both auctions will be held at a banquet in the cafeteria following the seventh-annual tournament June 13.
